Rainbow’s End

Cantar is delighted to extend a warm invitation to you all to join us at this year’s Summer Concert - Rainbow’s End

There will be a wonderful selection of music to enjoy, well known pieces from our repertoire as well as a few new pieces.  We are particularly excited to be performing for the very first time,  Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs.  This expressive suite of love songs captures a tender glimpse of a relationship Whitacre had with the poet, Hila Plitmann, who wrote each poem on a postcard. 

The concert will take place on Friday, 21st July 2023 at St Olave’s Church, Marygate, York starting at 7.30pm (Doors open from 7.00pm)

Tickets, which include refreshments, will be available on the door at £7 per ticket (Cash only please) Students £5, Under 12s Free of Charge.  All profits will be donated to our charity for this year York Foodbank
