About the event
After a couple of years of not singing together or performing, we are very excited to be announcing our first concert since before Covid arrived and we would like to extend a very warm invitation to you all to join us for An Evening with Cantar Community Choir.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 23rd July 2022 at St Olave’s Church, Marygate, York starting at 7.30pm, doors open from 7.00pm
Tickets will be available on the night at £5 per ticket (cash only please), in aid of our two charities for the year, York Foodbank and Martin House Children‘s Hospice. Children‘s tickets will be free of charge.
There will be an amazing selection of music to enjoy, well known pieces from our repertoire and a few new pieces, introduced to us by our wonderful, new Musical Director, Eimear Hurley.
